San Antonio - Texas starts off the countdown of top 10 cities for young adults to visit - San Antonio is a city with great weather, awesome nightlife on the riverfront, as well as amazing Mexican food to go along with the great culture. During the day you can check out the Alamo, hang out by the pool, play a round of golf, or hit up the theme parks around the city.

9. Seattle – Right when you get off the plane in Seattle you automatically feel like you’re getting too much oxygen, which of course is a good thing. When the sun is out you need to take the public transportation system downtown, head to the Seattle Center and to the top of the Space Needle, set up a lunch/dinner cruise in Puget Sound, and check out the amazing wharf. The city is full of both indoor and outdoor events. If you have enough time, Mt Rainier is a must-see.

8. Phoenix – This city lies in the heart of the Sonoran Desert which is teeming with wildlife from rattlesnakes to gila monsters to javelinas. You may want to hike Camelback Mountain. Phoenix is also a golfing mecca with over 300 golf courses in the metro area alone. The nightlife of Scottsdale and Tempe is some of the best in the country, with a very vibrant young crowd.

7. San Diego – San Diego has arguably the best weather in the country. Whether you head to Mission Bay for the Sea World experience, or want to see all of the Museums in Balboa Park, you will enjoy the weather while doing so. Coronado Island is a great place to check out military history and has excellent beaches. For nightlife, you can check out downtown’s Gas Lamp District, or head over to Pacific Beach for a fun night with the college crowd.

6. Denver – The “Mile High” city sits at over 5000 feet above sea level, so if you notice you’re out of breath early on, blame it on the elevation. Denver has a redesigned downtown and great nightlife.  Also, be sure to check out Larimer Square. The hiking in and around Denver is some of the best in the country. The city of Denver is full of arts and festivals during the spring and summer months.

5. San Francisco – Every young person will enjoy their vacation to San Francisco because of the sightseeing opportunities that B.A.R.T (Bay Area Rapid Transit) will provide them:  from Golden Gate Park to Alcatraz to Haight Ashbury to China Town. There are many restaurants with wonderful food. The Wharf is expensive, but definitely worth the trip. China Town is very affordable and will have you feeling as though you are in China.

4. Washington D.C. – Every young person should learn about the history of America.  D.C. is centrally located, so it’s very easy to get around to the landmarks on foot. It’s best to start at the Capital Building and Library of Congress, then proceed to the White House, WWII Memorial, Vietnam Memorial and then on to the Lincoln Memorial.  Be sure to head back to the middle of these landmarks and take in the view from the Washington Monument.  If you’re lucky, you may see the President fly in on Marine 1 and land on the White House lawn.

3. New York – You’d better bring your walking shoes when in the “Big Apple” because Times Square and Manhattan Island have so much to offer. Taking a ferry to the Statue of Liberty and visiting Ground Zero will be among your top choices to visit. If you’re into the nightlife,  BlkMarket Membership is worth the $30.00 to get in. 2. Las Vegas – Las Vegas is an adult’s Disneyland. The Las Vegas Strip is filled with various themed hotels and casinos. The gambling payouts in Vegas are not bad and the mouth watering food buffets are a tourist favorite. When you come to “Sin City,” be sure to bring the best clothes in your closet for hitting the hotel beaches, shopping, sightseeing and some long, wild nights on the town. Vegas is a city that never sleeps, so be sure to find a comfortable bed to get some rest when the time comes.  You will need it!

1. Miami – When in Miami, you must spend at least one night in South Beach. The Latin culture is heavy in Miami so be sure to learn some Spanish before you go. Once there you will need to test out the cuisine. No matter who you are, you will find yourself drawn to the beach and ocean. Regardless of whether you are there to sight see or, swim and get a tan going.  It doesn’t hurt to check out Miami Ink while you’re in town, or does it?
